Huling Tren
A downloadable game for Windows
A short game made for PSX Story Jam #2.
Controls you should know:
Run= Shift, Crouch= C, Walk= Ctrl, Climb on yellow blocks= Space, Flashlight= F
Hi I'm Leonature and this is my first ever finished small game. I hope you like my silly little horror game. I spent the entire week for this. Please tell me what you think! (A bit rushed ending cuz my time was spent learning UE5 blueprints)
I forced myself to join a gamejam and found the gamejam Psx Story Jam #2 to be interesting. I learned about UE5 more in a few days with a time and theme constraint than the last few weeks watching a bunch of tutorials.
A bunch of assets here I got for free or paid from sketchfab. Audio and music from Freesound. (BGM by Evan Boyerman)
Cover art background is from chatGPT. I uploaded a pic of my character and asked AI to generate a scary and retro train background with crawling creeps.

Tnx for trying it out. Some of my thoughts as a dev while watching:
-Why are you sliding so much hahaha
-It was quite interesting that you tested every mechanic like if the enemy reaching you did anything.
-Awesome to see you looking for the coins.
-I didn't realize I made a couple of mistakes in the level design where the obstacles were too high for the capsule.
Thanks for the detailed feedback! I really enjoyed the game.
As for the sliding, it was actually fun to control like that! haha. I always like to test the limits of game mechanics, and searching for coins made the exploration much more rewarding.
Don't worry about the level design—it was still a great experience. Can't wait to see your next work!
COOL HARD
Dang sorry that your fps was lagging I didn't have time nor the knowledge yet to optimize it for lower end hardware.
The game is absolutely enjoyable overall. Even though it’s short, it can make you jump and scream. However, I would suggest adding a basic controls guide at the beginning. Overall, everything is polished . Well done, and keep it up!
